Paloma Lopez
Paloma Lopez is the Vice President of At Stake Advisors and a global expert in branding, innovation, and sustainability, with 20 years driving the business transformation to grow purpose-led brands for companies like Kellogg and Clorox. Paloma has held various director and manager roles for multinational companies out of the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the US, and Mexico.
In her previous global director roles with Kellogg, Paloma provided thought leadership in the development of the next generation of the Kellogg's masterbrand globally. She spearheaded the first European sustainable agriculture program, Kellogg’s Origins™, and helped champion its expansion to benefit 300K farmers.
Paloma also played a crucial role in positioning the MorningStar Farms brand as a leader in plant-based eating. She scaled up climate-adaptation projects, including a women's cocoa initiative with Cargill and ASDA, reaching 70K farmers.
Earlier in her career, while in Europe, Paloma also helped lead the partnership with Chime for Change, a global campaign to raise funds and awareness for girls and women to promote education, health, and justice around the world, which engaged over 1 million women in the Chime for Change movement and directly benefited 25K women around the world.
Recognized as a Global Sustainability Women Leader in Forbes, Paloma was a First Movers 'Social Intrapreneur' Fellow at the Aspen's Institute Business and Society Program, where she now is also on the External Advisory Board.
Paloma graduated with distinction from the University of Cambridge's Sustainability Leadership Masters program, and is a Board Member at the Guild of Future Architects, Naturally Boulder, and Colorado Food Works.
Sean Ansett
Sean Ansett founded At Stake Advisors in 2006 and is now an Honorary Board Chair. He has over 20 years of experience providing strategic advice to corporations, social enterprise start-ups, UN agencies, and non-profit organizations on circularity, responsible sourcing, and environmental sustainability.
Sean was previously a co-founding team member and chief sustainability officer at Fairphone, the first modular and ethical smartphone company; head of responsible sourcing at Apple; director of corporate responsibility at Burberry; and global partnerships director at Gap Inc.
He is a former member of the external advisory board of the University of Michigan Erb Institute, a senior associate at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and the former executive director of the Bangladesh Safety Accord.
He has contributed to or authored articles Bloomberg, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and The Wall Street Journal, amongst others.
He has worked extensively at multiple tiers in the apparel, electronics, food, and hard goods value chains.
He is a board member of C2C Certified, the Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Standard.
Sean has two master’s degrees, one in international business and the other in sustainability leadership, from the University of Cambridge in the UK. He is fluent in Spanish.
